Patrick Jones, Head Coach Post 34 Senior Team
In August 2011, Coach Jones became the Head Baseball Coach at Tuscaloosa Academy. After four seasons as an assistant coach at TA, Coach Jones was named to replace departingCoach John Rushing at Tuscaloosa Academy. Coach Jones was an assistant in 2001 for Post 34 and then returned in 2008. During his tenure, Post 34 has claimed three State Championships (2008-2010) and a Regional Runner-up finish (2009). Coach Jones mainly works with hitters and infielders for Post 34 and he is a BP throwing, fungo hitting machine. He also coaches first base.
A three year starter at shortstop for Coach Rick Davis at Hoover High School, Coach Jones went on to be a part of the baseball teams at Jefferson State Community College and Mississippi State University.
